20/7/19 - Bardwell, TX
Today we hooked up the Casita and went to the High View Campground on Lake Bardwell.
10/8/19 - Bardwell, TX
This morning we took the Casita to the Casita factory in Rice, TX and
had the water leak fixed. We also
had them repair a few minor things. In the
process, they broke one of the windows and had to replace it. We spent the day
in Corsicana. We went back to High View Campground for the night.
10/9/19 - Daingerfield, TX
We got up at sunrise, we hooked up the trailer and headed to
Daingerfield State Park. This is the
yearly Fall Gathering Rally. It is big and
level and it keeps me from having to walk to other sites since I have my arm in
a sling due to rotator cuff surgery 3 weeks ago. Jim went on a walk to the other side of the park and took some pictures. We had a
campfire at our site.
10/10/20 - Daingerfield, TX
Today is our 15th wedding anniversary. We drove to Pittsburg, TX to visit Anvil Brewing. We had lunch there. The house cat decided to take a nap in Jim's lap. Next door was Farmer's Feed and Seed Company, the original site of Pilgrim's Pride, one of the largest chicken producers in the U.S. Tonight we had a chili share and
fire at our campsite again. It was
muggy and hot today.
10/11/19 - Daingerfield, TX
It was 45 degrees this morning. Jim and I drove through the countryside
today. We went to Hughes Springs and
Lone Star. At night we had a fire at
our camp again.
10/12/19 - Daingerfield, TX
I took a shower in the bath house with the help
of Jim. He had to help with my
sling. Jim and I went to Winnsboro
today and stopped at Cypress Creek Ales.
We had pot luck dinner and a fire at our camp tonight.
10/13/19 - Daingerfield, TX
Jim, Debbie and Henry went for a hike
today. I stayed at camp. I didn’t want to take a chance of falling
and injuring my rotator cuff surgery.
We had a fire at our camp tonight.
